G'day OzSpurs NFG League. This is your weekly FPL update.
The winner for gameweek 2 was 'What the Hecke' [Josh Lorenz] with 136 points! Rounding up the top 3 for the week was 'Pending Moderation' [Amer Zukic] (135 pts) and 'Kinsky Afro' [Chris Roberts] (114 pts).
'What the Hecke' [Josh Lorenz] with 177 total points is the new league leader, supplanting last weeks leader 'Glory Hotspurs' [Darren Cubitt]. At the other end 'Gruts n' Gravy' [Carlin Budd] continues to languish in last place with a pitiful 24 points.
The worst ranking teams this week were 'Can I Borrow A Porro' [Glenn Osborne] (46 pts), 'JC Milan' [Jason Collier] (42 pts), and 'Gruts n' Gravy' [Carlin Budd] (24 pts). Hang your heads in shame.
When it came to captaincy choice 'Pending Moderation' [Amer Zukic] did the best this week with 69 points from Bruno Borges Fernandes. On the other end of the spectrum was 'Pickles FC' [Maxwell P], 'Penguin Spurs' [Tim Groom], and 'To Dare Is To Lah!' [Darren Tong] who had picked Nobel Mendy, Pedro Porro Sauceda, and Virgil van Dijk for a total of 2 points. You receive the armband of shame for this week.
Moving onto substitutions 'Tasmans Archie' [Jevon Hall] will be kicking themselves after having left a spectacular 27 points on the bench which was the highest in the league.
This week 'The Legend Of Porro' [Ryan Shave] did the best with automatic substitutions receiving 15 points from Gibbs-White and Thiago coming off the bench in lieu of Senesi and Richarlison. 'Van Hecke Of A Team' [Nathan Pieterse] was not as fortunate getting a paltry -1 points from Greaves who covered for Senesi.
As for shakers and movers 'Pending Moderation' [Amer Zukic] climbed 77 spots this week. In the not so great department we have 'JC Milan' [Jason Collier] dropping 73 spots.
