I would like to take this opportunity to invite everyone from around Australia to join us on the Gold Coast for the 2012 National being held over the weekend of 17th - 20th August.
Friday 17th - Pub crawl will be arranged for that night and is a great opportunity to meet new faces and catch up with those that you met from last year. Always good to put a face to a tag.
Saturday 18th - 5 a-side tournament held during the day. Who will win the trophy this year??? Those that prefer, a venue with bar facilities is being located.
Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th - if televised, we all get together to watch the first game of the season together
Sunday 19th - Sunday session and AGM. This has proved to be one of the most popular days of the weekend, where you can spend the day with your new mates
We will also try to arrange for airport pick ups for those that need on the Friday and we are lucky enough to have 2 airports to fly into (Coolangatta or Brisbane). I will list some accommodation options on the site closer to the time, but the Gold Coast is not short of this.
I highly recommend you book the Monday off work and really get the most out 0f the weekend. Venues and times will be finalised closer to the weekend, so for now, start planning to be available.
