OzSpurs 2024/2025 Committee

Australia Spurs National Committee

Following the 2023 Australia Spurs AGM which took place at the Perth National, it was agreed that the terms for the committee would be two years, and the maximum number of terms that can be served in one role would be two (i.e 4 years total).

The following members of the committee are midway through one term and so do not require an election this year:

• Treasurer - Mark Ellis
• Website and Ticketing - John Tumbridge
• Merchandise - Ky Easterbrook

As communicated elsewhere Paf has decided to step down from the role of President. After a separate election process Sean Bielski will take over as President for the 2024/2025 season

Woody has also decided to step away from the committee after hosting the OzSpurs National in Cairns this coming year.

As such the following positions are vacant:

• Membership - Prepare membership packs (source), distribute membership packs, manage members database, actively grow membership, liaise with Ticketing Officer to manage CRN database with the club
• Communications and Chapter Liaison - Manage OzSpurs social media accounts, liaise with Website Officer to prepare EDM's and web posts, liaise with Chapter Organiser's to promote their events and be their point of contact.

We are seeking nominations for new members to join the committee for the 2024/2025.

Nominations are now open. Should you wish to run please send an expression of interest, including a description of why you want the position, to [email protected] by 14th April 2024.

Should it be required, an election will take place with voting between dates 21st April 2024 and 5th May 2024.
