There will be a change from previous years to the OzSpurs membership for the coming 2011/12 season. The cost of membership will be increasing from $10 to $20. The reason for the price increase is to allow us to offer a prize draw at no extra cost to our members over the price of membership.The prize, which will be drawn at the National of the 2012/13 season, will be two flights to the UK and two tickets to the lane, with the following terms and conditions;
- Return flights from Australia to London only
- Flights, up to the maximum value of $2,000 per person will be reimbursed on receipt of official flight details sent to OzSpurs financial controller
- Tickets up to the maximum value of $100 per person will be reimbursed on receipt of match tickets to OzSpurs financial controller
- One draw per member only (Membership number must be stated)
- Memberships available for the full 2011/12 season
- Memberships (and therefore eligibility for entry into the draw) will close after the last game of 2011/12 season
- Flights from anywhere on mainland Australia up to the value stated
- Member does not have to be present at the 2012/13 National to be eligible for the draw
- The financial controller has the authority to ask for additional or further details as he sees fit with regards any discrepancies of documentation provided to claim the prize
- Members with flights under $2,000 per person will not be entitled to the maximum prize draw amount
- Flights and tickets to be used during the 2012/13 season only
- The president is to be the first point of contact for any questions arising regarding this draw
A decision was made by the committee to hold this members draw instead of a raffle due to the complications of organisation, differing state rules on raffles and the administration time it would require of the committee and Co's. I hope this meets with your approval. Full Membership details will be made available shortly on the main site with an intention of 20011/12 membership being available from around mid July.
