NFG Fantasy Premier League GW 17 Results

G'day OzSpurs NFG League. This is your weekly FPL update.

The winner for gameweek 17 was 'Silver FC' [Tommy Silver] with 106 points! Rounding up the top 3 for the week was 'Spurs of Destiny' [Xan Royall] (104 pts) and 'WithAPacketOfSweets' [Nathan Pieterse] (104 pts).

'Birdinand FC' [John Heuvel] stayed at the top of the table with 1133 points, although 'Socceroos' [Joe Gonzalez] is creeping closer 24 points behind. At the other end 'Juice's Marvels' [Nektar Vavoulas] continues to languish in last place with a miserable 490 points.

The worst ranking teams this week were 'Shumph First 11' [Steven Humphery] (28 pts), 'Double-Barrelled' [Rob Walsh] (28 pts), 'In Ange we Trust' [Adrian Adams] (25 pts), and 'Ange Balls' [Noah Evans] (21 pts). Hang your heads in shame.

When it came to captaincy choices, there were 49 teams that shared top place with 42 points from Mohamed Salah. On the other end of the spectrum there were 6 teams that had picked Noni Madueke, Ollie Watkins, Yoane Wissa, Sean Longstaff, and Alisson Ramses Becker for a total of 2 points.

Moving onto substitutions 'Gruts & Gravy' [Carlin Budd] will be kicking themselves after having left an incredible 33 points on the bench which was the highest in the league.

This week 'Death Cab for Cuti' [Julia De Wit] did the best with automatic substitutions receiving an astounding 21 points from M.Salah coming off the bench in lieu of Smith Rowe. 'Westy Spurs' [Peter Chester] was not as fortunate getting a meager -1 points from Pedro Porro who covered for Smith Rowe.

As for shakers and movers 'Strypes FC' [Benjamin Miller] climbed 28 spots this week. In the not so great department we have 'Some Randoms' [Jack Calderwood] dropping 28 spots.
