Australia Spurs (OzSpurs), the Official Australian Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Club, was officially formed in 2001. Our club was born mainly out of frustration - in those days, it was a rare event to get a live Spurs match on TV in Australia and, when we were on, there was no central place for Spurs fans to meet up. The club got off to a good start as interest in the Premier League grew in Australia, but it wasn't until the addition of the OzSpurs website in 2002 that the club really took off. We haven't looked back since.Read more...
Our Adelaide chapter is an extremely passionate group of Spurs fans. They’ve been meeting up since the early days of OzSpurs, stretching back to the very early 2000s. They are an extremely committed and vocal group and those who join them on nights out at the Elephant Pub are in for a great night.
Our Brisbane chapter has been running since the mid-2000’s, really taking off around the time of the 2008 OzSpurs National, held in Brisbane across the ANZAC Weekend.
2018 will see the return of the OzSpurs National to Brisbane, more details as we have them.
These days, the chapter continues to be one of the bigger groups of Spurs fans in Australia. Brisbane OzSpurs get together for all big games at the Pig N Whistle West End.
Over the years, the group has also run 5-a-side teams and other family activities. If you’re interested in keeping up to date with the Brisbane group directly, check out the Facebook group.

The Gold Coast chapter was formed in 2010, by former ex-committee member and OzSpurs Hall of Fame member; Clarkey. Known as Australia’s party destination, finding a suitable pub to watch matches was a bit of a challenge but they have now settled on the stable Landsdowne Road Irish Pub.
Being one of our smaller chapters, the group tend to only meet for the bigger matches (mainly those shown on SBS), so keep your eyes on the website for their meet ups.
Things are now run by Lucas, and we’ve had Gold Coast representatives at each of the last 5 Nationals, including the 2012 National, held on the Gold Coast.
Many tourists will pass through the Gold Coast on their way around Australia, so don’t forget to stop by and meet some Spurs fans for a match!
Melbourne is one of our biggest and longest running Chapters, with roots back to the early 2000’s and the beginning of OzSpurs as an official club.
They started out with Beazles at the helm, and he grew a very passionate and ‘big’ club, with the highlight of the early years being the 2005 National, one which is still relived even now. During these early days, the group could be found in the early hours of a match day at the Charles Dickens Hotel.
Over the years, we’ve seen a steady generational change, with former Committee Member Ossie running the chapter through the latter 2000’s and now in the steady hands of Emma-Jane. Under EJ’s watch, the chapter has rebuilt with a new core membership base, but still remains one of the larger supporters club groups in Australia.
In addition to the 2005 National, Melbourne also hosted in 2010 and 2013. Then in 2016 Spurs themselves visited and played at the MCG in exhibition matches against Juvenus and Atletico Madrid.
OzSpurs Melbourne gather in the Imperial Hotel, one of the best pubs in the City. The Melbourne Chapter get together for every game that Tottenham play. Come along and join them, all Spurs fans welcome.
If you know your history…
Perth OzSpurs was where the first OzSpurs National took place, and back in 2003 it was in Perth that the local OzSpurs members put the wheels in motion to make OzSpurs the Official Supporters Club of Tottenham Hotspur in Australia.
Blessed with the best time difference to the UK you can be sure to find good numbers out watching Spurs with our passionate group at Paddy Maguires.
Our Sydney chapter has been in existence since the late 1990s and meets up for each and every single Spurs match. Having run the gauntlet of Sydney pubs in the early 2000s, battling drunken teenagers, sticky dance floors and no sound for matches (among other issues), we finally found the Surry Hills Hotel (previously known as the Triple Ace Bar) in September 2004. It has been our home ever since.
You can expect to find anywhere from 10 to 300 fans in the pub for match days, with the North London derby obviously the most popular. If you can’t make it to the Lane, then the Surry Hills Hotel is easily the next best thing, within an atmosphere more akin to that of a pub somewhere in North London.
Currently, the Sydney Chapter is lead by Cameron and we love to see new faces everywhere. Whether you’ve just stumbled upon the club or are on holidays in Sydney, come by for a Spurs match and you will be made welcome!
